Biography

Dr. Ashraf Uddin completed Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science, South Asian University (SAU) in 2018. Before joining Ph.D, He completed MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from SAU in 2013. Previously, He obtained B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the University of Dhaka. He has been working as an Assistant Professor in the the Department of Computer Science in American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). 

His research interests include NLP, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Text Analysis for Bangla. He has published more than 20 research papers in different journals and conferences. As a recognition of his academic excellence, he received Academic Gold Medal from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science in South Asian University, New Delhi. He also received the prestigious "SAARC India Silver Jubilee Scholarships" for his outstanding performance in Masters and PhD.
