Biography

Dr. Kamruddin Nur is a full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). Before that, he served as the department Chairman and Associate Professor at Stamford University Bangladesh (SUB), Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). Dr. Nur completed his PhD from UPF, Barcelona, Spain in Ubiquitous Computing, Masters from UIU, and Bachelor from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Dr. Nur authored many prestigious conferences and journal articles in IEEE and ACM. Dr. Nur reviewed numerous IEEE, ACM, Springer journal and conference articles. Dr. Nur served as the program co-chair of ACM in-cooperation sponsored conferences - the International Conference of Computing Advancements (ICCA) 2020, 2022, and served as track chair/co-chair/session chair of numerous IEEE and Springer conferences. His research areas include - Ubiquitous Computing (IoT), Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Robotics. Dr. Nur is a Senior Member, IEEE (SMIEEE), Member, IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (RAS), Member, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Member SIGAPP, ACM (NY, USA).
