I have research interest in the field of Theoretical Computer Science and Software Engineering with keen focus in understanding the trends and practices that are followed in successful open source software projects. I mainly study how an open source software projects becomes a successful phenomenon despite of their unconventional organisational structure and development practices. I have hands on experience in designing and developing software products at professional level is an inevitable requirement for teaching students the state-of-the art technologies and to put pragmatic orientation within the classroom setup. In order to achieve this I have participated in two full-scale software development projects as part of my M.Sc studies. In the case of giving lecture I prefer to follow incremental approach where the next lecture is always follows the previous one with explicit link and progress so that students can easily track the progress. Alongside, each of my lectures is thematic or topic centric. This makes it easy for the students to grasp quickly. Therefore, my teaching philosophy centers on the following two key principles: promote positive learning, and provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning.I am Ms. Kaniz Fatema.
