Academic biography: Dr. Md. Manzurul Hasan obtained his B. Sc. Engg. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and M. Sc. Engg. in CSE from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) respectively. He completed his Ph.D. from the Department of CSE, BUET, Bangladesh. Dr. Hasan is currently serving at the Department of Computer Science as an Associate Professor at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). He served at different reputed professional organizations and at different teaching positions with a service length of about 17 years. He is an active member of different professional bodies like the Institute of Engineers (IEB), Bangladesh Computer Society, IEEE, BUET Information Visualization Laboratory, etc. Depending on the research activity at his young age he was invited to attend the 12th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates in Japan fully funded by JSPS, Japan. Dr. Hasan has a good number of prestigious publications in different journals and in different conference proceedings published by Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, World Scientific, IGI Global, ACM, IEEE Xplore etc. Family biography: Dr. Hasan was born in 1983 in the campus of Chittagong University which is an evergreen place. His brought up was there, because his father was a Deputy Registrar (Academic) of the said university. Dr. Hasan's father was a BA (DU), MA in Philosophy (CU), and his mother was also a Senior Assistant Teacher at Chittagong University School and College. She is a BA, B.Ed. Dr. Hasan has one brother and one sister. His brother is an MBA from Chittagong University. His sister is an MSS in Economics from Chittagong University. Dr. Hasan passed my SSC and HSC examinations from Chittagong University School and College, Chittagong board in 1998 and 2000 respectively. After his graduation from CUET, he Joined at The Millennium University in the department of CSE as a Lecturer consequently as a Senior Lecturer. He switched from teaching to Industry in 2010. In this year, after a tough job selection procedure conducted by BUET, he joined Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited in ATM network Division. After three years he got a positive transfer to the International Division to conduct SWIFT administrations and operations. After his M. Sc. Engg from BUET, he got married to Fahmida Shilla. She is a Civil Engineer from BUET. Currently, Engr. Shilla is serving as a first-class gazetted engineer (civil) at the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh. By the grace of the Almighty, Dr. Hasan and Engr. Shilla have two beautiful sons Omar Been Hasan and Abrar Been Hasan. He got his Ph.D. from BUET. Dr. Hasan has both teaching and industrial experience. One faculty should have such experiences with a view to preparing the students for the battle of life in the future.
