Abstract:

Nowadays, fire, waterlogging and earthquake incidents are frequent disasters in urban areas. The rapid growth of unplanned urbanization is one of the primary reasons. Every year, many lives are lost due to these incidents. The recent advances of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques bring a new way of detecting these massive disasters. In this talk, the speaker discusses the ongoing research and further research opportunities in this research area.
