The prize giving ceremony of the 1st ever Bangabandhu Inter University Sports Champs 2019, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Bangladesh was held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 4 pm in Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. A total of around 2665 participants from 65 universities (both public and private) of Bangladesh participated in the month long Inter University tournament where a total of 10 sports events were competed. The events were Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Swimming, Handball and Cycling.
