Biography
K. M. Imtiaz-Ud-Din is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of American International University-Bangladesh. Prior to joining the CS Department at AIUB, he served as a full time faculty member at Islamic University of Technology, East West University, Daffodil International University and Prime University. He is also an International Visiting Faculty Member at Chandigarh University, India and has worked briefly as an Engineering Intern at ZTE Corporation, a Chinese Telecommunication Company and as a Summer Student Researcher at Telenor Research and Innovation, Norway. He has completed B. Sc. in Computer Science and Information Technology from Islamic University of Technology, M. Sc. in Information Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and M. Sc. in Security and Mobile Computing from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. His research interests include Ambient Intelligence, Pervasive Computing, End User Computing, Internet of Things, Self Adaptive Systems and the applications of AI and ML in those areas. He was awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship by the European Commission to pursue the NordSecMob Master's Program. He was also awarded University of Alberta Master's Scholarship and Western University (University of Western Ontario) Computer Science Department Scholarship both of which he declined because of pursuing the NordSecMob Master's Program. He co-founded the Computer Society at Islamic University of Technology and acted as the Convener of the inaugural edition of the ICT Fest organized by the same institution. He also acted as the Organizing Chair of the 2nd International Conference on Cyber Security and Computer Science organized by Daffodil International University in 2020.
