Biography
This is Ms. Shakila Rahman, a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Bangladesh. I received my M.Sc. in AI & Computer Engineering from the University of Ulsan, South Korea in February 2023. During my master’s studies, I worked as a graduate research assistant in the Advanced Mobile Networks and Intelligent Systems Lab, under the supervision of Professor, Dr. Seokhoon Yoon from September 2020 to December 2022. I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh in December 2019. During my B.Sc. studies, I was appointed as an undergraduate teaching assistant from June 2019 to October 2019 at IIUC.
My main research interests include machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, image processing, optimization of network systems, optimization algorithms, wireless sensor networks, and network-controlled systems. I have several publications in these areas, and I am passionate about the research. I have received Korean Govt. based funding for research: the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) to publish my work. I also received awards for research in the meantime. I like to learn new things. Furthermore, I am a problem solver. During my undergraduate program, I attended many national and international programming contests. Also in some online problem-solving platforms such as URI, UVA (https://uhunt.onlinejudge.org/id/834469), and Hacker rank, etc., I have solved many problems.
