Rajarshi Roy Chowdhury, Ph.D., is a focused and dedicated academic and researcher currently holding the position of Assistant Professor (AP) within the Department of Computer Science at American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to his appointment at AIUB on January 15, 2024, Dr. Rajarshi served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Metropolitan University (MU) from February 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. His academic career commenced on November 1, 2012, as a Lecturer at the Department of CSE at Sylhet International University (SIU), Sylhet, Bangladesh. In 2023, he attained his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei. Before this, he earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, in 2012, and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2011. His research interests encompass Internet of Things (IoT) security, Machine Learning, Networking, and Cybersecurity. In addition to his academic and research, he has acquired extensive experiences across various countries and universities. His passion for teaching and conducting research at the university level is driven not only by his dedication to academic excellence but also by his aspiration to enhance the lives of students.
