Biography
Sumaiya Malik is currently an Instructor at American International University – Bangladesh, in the Faculty of Science and Technology. She has a very enthusiastic and keen research interest in Computer Vision, Data Science, Machine Learning and Image Classification. Moreover, she has done some notable works regarding these fields, worth mentioning, Comparative Analysis of Alzheimer's Disease, Brain Tumor and Citrus Fruit Detection using different Convolution Neural Network (CNN) models and frameworks. Not only that, she also introduced a very low cost and effective Mosquito Repellent system while she was doing her bachelor’s. Besides, she devoted herself in various extra-curricular activities like, being a Campus Ambassador of National Steam Olympiads and Mapping the Future in Career Development PAC 2022 (MCDPAC'22), apart from these she hosted many major events organized by AIUB such as ERUSMUS MUNDUS, ICREST and other prominent seminars, webinars, and workshops. Furthermore, she received the best Poster Presentation Award representing AIUB in The International Conference on Electronics and Informatics (ICEI) and she is serving as the Deputy Team Lead of Engineering Student's Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face.
